UK Steel's submission to Spending Review Submission 2024, where UK Steel urged the Government to:
- Bring forward the UK Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism to 2026
- Continue to establish truly competitive electricity prices for the steel sector
- Abolish the Carbon Price Support Mechanism
- Continued investment in modernisation and decarbonisation of the industry
- Increase funding for research and innovation
